Laura joined Shenandoah Financial Advisors in June of 2022. She was born into a military family and spent her first twelve years moving around the United States and abroad before her father retired to Richmond, Virginia in 1980 making Richmond her first permanent home.

She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Richmond and her Master’s of Arts degree from George Washington University. Her last 35 years have been spent in education as a classroom teacher, an administrator, a coordinator of assessment and remediation, and tutor.

Laura and her husband, Greg, have made Mechanicsville, Virginia their home for the last 34 years. They love spending time with their family, watching football and baseball, and relaxing at the beach.
